Our Story

CureRays emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic, determined to investigate and validate the historic use of low-dose radiation for benign, inflammatory, and infectious indications. Through clinical care in radiation medicine, expert consultancy, and clinical trials, CureRays aims to "follow the science" wherever it may lead. We passionately discover and expand horizons about the role therapeutic radiation to treat human diseases and improve medical care.

CureRays investigators pioneered the use of low-dose, lung-directed x-ray treatment for COVID-19-related pneumonia, which reduced oxygenation demand, altered the immune system, and reduced intubation rates against the cascading run-away immune effects of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which caused the global pandemic.

Mission

CureRays is a multi-speciality medical team that embraces the expansion of all aspects of radiation medicine, including traditional radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology, and radio-pharmaceuticals, but also radiation dermatology, rheumatology, cardiology, immunology, and neurology.

CureRays engages and prioritizes discovery through bench, translational, and clinical research to advance scientific understanding and patient treatment options.

CureRays extends its expertise through consultancies, offering second opinions, imaging reviews, supervisorial services for superficial therapeutic x-rays for dermatologic and rheumatologic diseases, as well as consultant services for clinical research and innovative product development.
