Rebecca Sonu MD FCAP
Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist
Dr. Sonu is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist who specializes in the diagnosis of lymphoma and bone marrow disorders. She received her undergraduate degree in biology at UC San Diego, completed her medical school training at Ross University and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) residency at UC Davis Medical Center.
After residency, she completed one year fellowships in both hematopathology at UC Davis and transfusion medicine at Stanford. Dr. Sonu is a Fellow at the College of American Pathologists and a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

She is a member of El Dorado Pathology Medical Group and partners with GVRO and SNMH Community Cancer Center to provide pathologic services. She is also the laboratory medical director at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.
